Not much more to say today. Still a yucky day and getting colder by the minute. They say a 'winter storm' is coming through from Mississippi (you thought I couldn't spell that didn't you!) all the way up to New England but only the top and bottom are actually getting any winter weather, all we're getting is RAIN! Don't get me wrong, I know we need the rain but I would rather see snow! :)
Ok, so I have to tell you something that happened to me last night. For most people it would have been rather embarassing, but to me, well, let's just say I have lots of practice laughing stuff like this off... I had prepared a large crockpot full of chili for a dinner we were having at church last night. I had it with me at work letting it cook here and carried it out to my car in the rain. A friend of mine was nice enough to walk beside me and open doors for me and while we were walking out she reminded me not to drop it! I laughed at the thought thinking I would be pretty upset if I were to drop it after all the hard work I put into it. So, I made it to the car with no accidents! I even got out of the car at church and carried it all the way to the doors where someone was nice enough to open the door for me! I walked carefully through the tile foyer on the rugs and made it almost to the carpeted room when on my last step in the foyer I hit the tile and slipped! I went down to my knees but the crockpot stayed up and I tried my hardest to not spill it. I succeeded! Not a drop of chili was spilt! Someone rushed over to help me and took the chili out of my hands and then helped me to me feet! Everyone was amazed that I didn't spill any and also concerned that I had hurt myself. Other than a little scrape on my knee and not being able to sit on my knees I'm fine! The news did carry quickly though! LOL! By then end of church everyone was asking if I was ok! LOL!
Just wanted to share my clumsiness with you guys and let Kaylene know she's not alone!

You did better than me! I wouldn't have made it out to the car in the first place AND the chili would have ended up all over me! - Kaylene
