So not a lot has happened since my last post. I have mainly just been working and spending time with the family. We had a great time this past weekend, the weather was so pretty! We took the boys to Jeremy's parents on Saturday and rode the four wheeler and Corban and I hiked a LOT! The only bad thing about that day was Cainan getting hurt on the four wheeler. He was in front of my when we went over a bump and he bopped his nose on the handle bars, it was swollen and bruised and it bled but he seems ok now. Thank goodness! Corban and I had a great time hiking, although the next day I could really feel it! He is such an adventurous little boy! He would get out ahead of me and he got to this lookout and was like 'mom, you have to see this!'. it was really great to see him so excited about nature! I can't wait to take the boys camping this summer! Jeremy and I already talked about getting the tent out if it stays warm and setting it up in the backyard! I think that will be fun for them too, but to take them to a campsite and be out there, man, I think they'll LOVE it!
Hmmm... let's see.... nothing more has really been going on lately. I guess I'll have to blog again sooner so that I don't forget all the exciting things that happen in my life! LOL! Yeah right, I WISH!

So I'm a little bored right now... I am at work and should be busy, but right now, well... there's just not much to do... I'm sure that will change later this afternoon!
Let's see.. what's going on in my life...

We are putting Cainan into a toddler bed this weekend and I'm pretty excited about that. We are going to go get the bed tomorrow and get him some bedding for it. I'm a little sad too, since he's my baby and I don't want to take him out of his crib, but really, it's WAY past due! He's so cute and I just want both of my boys to stay little FOREVER! I guess that can't happen though, can it? I hope he does well in the new bed. We're going to take down the crib but I haven't decided if I'm strong enough to sell it yet. I might have to store it for a few years! I don't know if I'm really ready to say that we are NOT having anymore kids. I just can't answer that right now.
I am in the process of planning Corban's b-day party, as you know, and things are coming along quite nicely. I've got a lot bought for it and preparations for games and food are in my head! I hope to have it all written down by the coming week.
We are also re-doing the boys bathroom and I can't wait until it's done! I found the cutest set at Target, but I'm not sure they have all of the pieces that I want! I have already picked out the paint color and it is SO bright and vibrant! Perfect for my rambunctious boys! I'm hoping to do a few more things to the house pretty soon and I can't wait!

Oh, one of my friends is now selling pampered chef so if you're interested let me know and I will give you her contact info. She'd love for you to have a party!

I want to praise God for loving me even though I don't deserve it and thank Him for guiding us to the church we are at now. He is SO good! Our family has never been better than it is right now and I owe it all to Him!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I will post again soon!

Woo Hoo, It's Friday

I cannot tell you how happy I am that it is FINALLY Friday! It has been such a long week since it's the first time I've worked for 5 days straight since before Christmas! LOL! Thankfully we'll have another day off soon!
Well, if you watched the 'championship' game last night, I'm sorry that you had to see the Gators win. Not who I was hoping would win that game. What can you do though?!
Hmmm, not much to say today, but I felt like I should write something! I haven't seen my family (mom & dad) in several weeks, I should probably try to do that soon. I miss my brothers but can't do much about seeing them since one is halfway across the world, another is busy with his new family and the other is 15 and stuck where the parents are! :) Should try to plan to see the rest of my family too, but it's so far and I'm not sure how the boys would deal! Hopefully soon though!
Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend! ENJOY!

Already planning and it's MONTHS away!

I was thinking yesterday that I needed to come up with a theme for Corban's birthday in April. I talked to him this morning about it and I didn't even get to give him my suggestions, he just came out and said 'Mom! I have to have a race car party since I'm going to be a race car driver when I grow up!' so race car party it is! We were both so excited and discussed how we could make the room into a race track and they could race. It was so funny! Poor kid has to wait 3 1/2 months before this becomes a reality though! I on the other hand, am already browsing the 'net trying to get everything in order for it. I already know how I'm going to make the track and have table decorations found. Now for the cake... hmm... what to make? I'm sure I'll come up with something! As soon as Corban's is done we'll start working no Cainan's (July!)!!! Dinosaurs, Diego, Curious George... all of the choices! I can't even start thinking about that now though, I've got to get Corban's done FIRST! Ok, back to planning!

Happy New Year

Well, I can't believe it but it is now 2009! 2008 went by so quickly and now this year will bring such change to our lives! Corban will be 5 (GASP!!!) in a few short months, Cainan will be 3, Jeremy and I will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary, my 10 year high school reunion will (hopefully) be held in Florida and I would like to take the boys to Disney World. Wow! So much!

I have a few 'resolutions' for the new year. One is to follow God more closely. He is pulling me closer and I want to be right there. I am trying harder to read my bible and study more each day. I also want to spend more time with him in prayer and meditation. I believe with that will come a greater joy only He can give! My next is to be more active. I need to do a lot more than I do now physically. I hope that I can pull myself out of bed in the mornings to accomplish this! I also want to be more organized and tidy in my home and office! (the girls at work will like that and my husband DEFINATELY will!). I plan on spending more time with family and friends. I also plan on spending less money and saving more! I would love to complete the little things I want done on my house (crown moulding, change fixtures, add curtains/blinds, garden pathway round back deck, etc).

I hope that all of those around me see the joy in my life and I hope to bring joy to them. I love you all and can't wait to see all the wonderful things that happen to each of us in 2009!

Merry Christmas

Ok, so it is the last day to work before Christmas and I am very excited but also a little stressed! I just figured out what I'm going to make for Christmas dinner! Now I have to go to wal-mart and hope that they have everything I need! Do you think they'll have any turkey's left? We are going to fry a turkey for Christmas too since Thanksgiving went so well! I have got SO much to remember, I think I need a list, but knowing me I will leave the list at work! I also have a few gifts to wrap and a couple of envelopes to stuff with money and I will officially be DONE! I guess that's really not an accomplishment considering Christmas is in two days! LOL! Anyway, I just wanted to wish EVERYONE a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope that God has blessed you as least half as much as he has blessed our family. He has given us a beautiful family and a warm home to reside in. I love you all very much and I care about each and every one of you. I hope you all remember what Christmas is really about and that you don't get so caught up in the gift giving and food that you forget why we celebrate. Jesus Christ is ALIVE and he lives in my heart today. I hope he does the same for you, if not, he CAN and WANTS to! If you aren't sure how or why then please email/call me, I'd love to talk!

Christmas Time

So, I've been shopping, decorating, wrapping and baking for the past several weeks. I even made a fudge recipe that turned out right! I think I'm going to try it with peanut butter tomorrow night! I'm giving baked treats to Corban's preschool teachers and to both of the boys Sunday School teachers. I hope they will enjoy it. I also need to make a cake or pie for our preacher and friends. I finally got Christmas cards finished and mailed yesterday! I made 60 and they are ALL gone! I really don't think that many people like us, but you have to be nice at Christmas, right? LOL!
My only problem now is I feel like I don't have enough bought for Jeremy and I have no clue what to get him! If anyone can suggest anything, please let me know! I am open to suggestions!

No Christmas parties this year, Jeremy has decided we aren't going to his companies party and we aren't having one at our office this year. I bought an outfit to wear to Jeremy's. I guess I will just have to look sexy elsewhere, LOL! YeAH RIGHT!

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas and enjoys and remembers the real reason we celebrate.
